| Raku Pottery
In her most recent Raku pottery, Lynn Dee continues to explore form and pattern. She enhances her hand thrown shapes and sculptural attachments with brushwork of glazes and metallic oxides. Bamboo has long been one of her favorite subjects. However, it was not until she had bamboo growing in her own garden, that she sat down with brush and glaze in hand and painted bamboo directly onto a vase. That was over ten years ago. Her bamboo brushwork has gradually acquired more feeling and become more abstract.
